We can hardly believe it has been 35 years! Craved by locals since 1977, Rocky’s Sub Pub is the heart and soul of its founder, John Fondrisi. As a Bronx native and grandson of Italian immigrants, John knew a little something about great Italian American cuisine. And eventually, he brought his family tradition and talent to the area for all to enjoy.

On the day Elvis died (we’re not kidding), John opened the doors to the 40 seat Rocky’s Sub Pub in what was Duffy’s hamburger stand on Market Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Once the locals got a taste of his recipes, the rest, as they say, is history.
